The 40th Alpbach Finance Symposium will take place at the Congress Centrum Alpbach from 07. - 09. October
For 40 years, the Alpbach Finance Symposium has been the largest finance event for CFOs, CEOs and treasurers of major companies from Austria and with links to Austria.
Since 1987, the Alpbach Finance Symposium has provided the ideal setting for dialogue between business, politics and financial institutions. The Federation of Austrian Industries is a partner of the Alpbach Finance Symposium.
The symposium is characterised by an overarching theme, a focus on exports and expert workshops on the core financial issues facing companies in the real economy.
The largest industry gathering, attracting around 560 participants, will take place for the 40th time in Alpbach, Tyrol.

The Alpbach Finance Symposium has an annual overarching theme designed to reflect the mood in the corporate finance sector. This year’s panels will address how successful companies, CFOs, and treasurers are dealing with the current situation.
From Compliance to strategic advantage:
Winterhalter's Journey with EBICS, VoP and ISO 20022
OBJECTIVE: This workshop provides a practical demonstration of how CFOs and treasury managers can not only efficiently implement regulatory changes but also leverage them to drive standardization, transparency, digitalization, and internationalization.
CONTENT: Compliance requirements such as EBICS 3.0, ISO 20022, SEPA Instant Payments, and Verification of Payee (VoP) are currently transforming the banking and treasury processes of many companies. Winterhalter has specifically leveraged these developments to establish a central international payment and treasury hub and to strategically advance its global cash management.
CASE STUDY: Drawing on concrete experiences and “lessons learned” from the implementation with multicash, participants will gain valuable insights for their own treasury transformation.

The transformation of treasury is no longer an abstract vision of the future, but a reality we are living today: regulatory requirements, real-time capabilities, and automation demand new solutions. What particularly impresses me is the approach of not increasing complexity, but rather making it manageable through intelligent technology, open architectures, and clear processes. In this context, multicash epitomizes a new generation of treasury systems—modular, integrated, and future-oriented. What matters is not just innovation for innovation’s sake, but the concrete added value for CFOs and treasurers: greater transparency, greater security, and the ability to grow sustainably with limited resources.
